Catchuno – light, ultramodern, and refined- are the first attributes that come to mind when we consider the appearance of this stallion.

His sire, Cardento, has proven himself at the highest level of competition. Under the guidance of Peter Eriksson, he won the silver medal at the World Championships, the European Championships, and the Olympic Games in Athens. Cardento also triumphed in the Nations Cups in Rome, Drammen, and Ikast, as well as in the Grand Prix events in Holte, Helsingborg, Ängelholm, Gera, and twice in Kungsbacka.

In the realm of international sport, he is regarded as one of the most significant Holsteiner sires, consistently producing offspring that make a mark at the 5* level.

Catchuno's dam Intschuschuna SV is an in-house breeding product in the second generation. As a 5- and 6-year-old, she was an absolute series winner in tests for young show jumpers, receiving top marks, and as a 5-year-old she was runner-up in the Holsteiner show jumping championships.

She has everything that has characterized the Holstein line 730 b for generations - the highest rideability values, galloping ability and willingness to perform.

Granddam Donna Luzie is a half-sister to 6 international sport horses.

MMM Luzie I is a full sister to the horses Cascano and Calmar, successful in 1.60 m jumping competitions, as well as to Intschuschuna, the dam of the world-famous Lacrimoso HDC.

Catchuno himself impresses with a top-class canter, with a lot of balance, upward jumps and an active hind leg, he shows a relaxed and powerful movement. In walk and trot, he presents himself securely in time, with a lot of diligence and sufficient scope. The jumping is convincing with light-footedness, a very good bascule over the jump, great caution and the very well opening, powerful hindquarters. Catchuno impresses with a lot of expression and nobility as well as a light foundation in the desired rectangular format. Overall harmoniously constructed with a very good uphill impression, he is recommended as a refiner for a broad base of mares.
