BREEDER
Jimmy Vermeulen,
With Uncle Joe van’t Meulenhof we can offer our breeders a very special stallion.
His father, Libero H, is a legend in both show jumping and breeding. He has proven himself as a top show jumping sire. Under Jos Lansink, the Landgraf I son won an impressive series of World Cup show jumping and major prizes. The highlight was his confident victory in the World Cup final in 1994.
Mother Carthina was successful in show jumping up to 1.40 m and produced one of the most prominent sport stallions of our time: Emerald van’t Ruytershof. She can also point to eleven other offspring who are successful in international sport.
On the occasion of his licensing and stallion performance test at the BWP, Uncle Joe van’t Meulenhof was described as follows:
"A sporty stallion with a good frame, a very well-shaped neck and an expressive face. He has a correct foundation with good hooves. He trots closed with a good imprint. The gallop is spacious and has a lot of balance. Under the saddle he made an excellent impression on the test riders. When jumping under the saddle he is very attentive. His leg technique and use of the body are clearly good. He shows a lot of jumping power."
We can only confirm this impression: A powerhouse with an extraordinary interior, strong character, equipped with a lot of go and yet always convincing with the highest rideability values.
Uncle Joe van’t Meulenhof is an absolute rarity as one of the last line holders of the important L line, paired with one of the best mares in the world.
