With Brantzau, we can offer you the blood of the Olympic champion Baloubet du Rouet in combination with the legendary sire Carthago. He comes from the powerful Holsteiner line 104 a. The founding mare Retina by Ramzes AA won the German Show Jumping Derby under Fritz Thiedemann and was one of the best show jumping horses of her time. Notably, the international top athletes Corradina and Corlanda are descendants of Retina.
Brantzau was a series winner in show jumping competitions with scores up to 9.3 and was successful in Youngster Tours up to 1.40 m. He particularly impresses with his light-footed gallop, the enormous power at the jump, and an outstanding hind leg technique – these qualities he also passes on to his offspring.
The offspring of Brantzau are making a significant impact. In 2023, eight of them qualified for the Bundeschampionat. The first group of his progeny, who were seven years old last year, successfully competed in national and international Youngster Tours at the 1.40 m level. They are highly sought after by riders, as Brantzau consistently passes on exceptional qualities such as athleticism, a strong work ethic, and ambition in the arena.
His offspring exhibit an active, balanced canter, combined with ability, caution, and powerful hindquarters, making them highly recommended for international competition. Beyond their performance in sport, his descendants are also excelling in breeding, with seven licensed sons—including the champion stallion of 2022 at the DSP licensing in Neustadt-Dosse—and 16 premium daughters, solidifying Brantzau's reputation as a complete package.
