Cornet's Quaprice, a beautiful son of the world-famous star sire Cornet Obolensky. His sire Cornet Obolensky was European Team Champion with the German Equipe and was victorious at 1.60 level.
MV Quaprice du Bois Margot was also successful at international 1.60 level himself. He was one of the most impressive show jumpers of all time. Deceased far too early, he left behind licensed stallions and also highly successful offspring at 1.60 level: including VDL Groep Quatro (G. Gulliksen), Sangria du Coty (R.Y. Bost), Ricore Courcelle (E. Andrade), Baltic VDL (J. Vrieling) and many more.
The dam line of Cornet's Quaprice is highly interesting - MM Cartanora Z by Carthago was himself highly successful at international 1.50 level and Nora, the MMM, produced licensed stallions and internationally successful offspring.
Through the sires Lux Z and Pilot in the further pedigree, Cornet's Quaprice is a rarity in terms of breeding. From the direct mare line comes Cornetiero, also by Cornet Obolensky and successful at 1.60 level, as well as Student (by Captain Fire) and Classic (by Captain Fire).
Cornet's Quaprice himself impresses with his beautiful conformation and pronounced correctness. Dry in his foundation with a powerful topline and perfectly constructed croup, the stallion scores points for his conformation. He is light-footed when jumping, with a great overview, outstanding jumping manner and perfect hind leg technique.
In sport, Cornet's Quaprice secured his first international placings last year and was also successful in national youngster show jumping competitions.
The presentation of his first licensing years reveals a convincing hereditary power. Outstanding type values with a large frame and expressive face are his hallmarks. Among others, he produced the 2nd reserve winner of the Holsteiner licensing in Neumünster Cornet Superstar, Colvis de Muze, who is now based in Belgium, and Coolway, who was licensed in Verden this year.
